The smell is not overpowering and is quite warming. Seemed to dissipate faster than I thought it would though. Did the trick though as my partner was asleep about 20 seconds after I stopped running her shoulders!

This oil has a spicy citrusy smell that I love. After using it for a couple of weeks I can say it helps to fall asleep and stay asleep too. I would buy it again.
